Homemade cable connector. Made from 5/16" bolt. Hole drilled near head of bolt and clamped between 2 washers. Tip of bolt ground down to 1/4" and drilled for cotter pin.

Heal brake set-up. It hasn't flown or stopped the plane yet but it looks like it will work.

Had to move the pivot hole out further to get more movement in the brake arm with less movement in the heal pedal.
