Used TurboCad to make templates for the wheelpants.

Cutout 2x6's and 1x6's from the tempates and nailed and glued them together. Then belt sanded away any wood that wasn't a wheelpant.

Filled in the low spots with bondo and sanded some more.

Primed, sanded, waxed, parting board in place, mold release applied. All ready for the epoxy resin coat.

Modellers clay used to hold the parting board in place.

That is a ~.020 mylar sheet on 1/8" thick cheap plywood to make up the parting board. Modellers clay was used to make the wheel opening area.

Another view.

Parting board removed. Wax and mold release applied. Ready to make other half of mold.

Used clay to make rough opening for wheel in fairing.
